Concussion

Head injuries deserve more than “wait and see.” The concussion program covers evaluation, ImPACT and balance-based baseline testing, and structured return-to-play decisions for athletes of all ages.

We treat
  • Concussion evaluation and diagnosis
  • Baseline testing for teams and schools
  • Return-to-play clearance
  • Post-concussion symptoms

Concussions often do not show up on CT or MRI. Diagnosis relies on clinical examination, ImPACT neurocognitive testing, balance and vestibular testing, and symptom review.
